Moving....
Im fucking sick of packing up all my crap. I have stuff in my closet from when i moved to this house 10 years ago. This is what i get for being unorganized. However, i do move into my apt at the end of this week, and i cant wait. | | Tuesday, June 27th, 2006 | | 11:27 am |

Good news, I'm not dead.
So for those of you who havent heard i was in a motorcycle accident last thurs. Im ok, a few broken bones, a sprain, and some scrapes, but im still in one peice. The motorcycle came out even better than i did, a few scratched and two broken mirrors. For anyone who is curious i was driving through construction on elsworth and and to slam on my breaks to avoid a collision. I learned quickley that locked up wheels and dirt on the road dont equal great traction and my bike slid out from underneath me. Cops were there in about 2 minutes and they helped my get my bike out of the road, i told them not to call an ambulance because i was pretty sure i was ok. Karis was the next to show up followed by my dad and then karis's dad. Karis took me to urgent care while our parents transported my bike back. Anywho now im done with x-rays and tests. My wrist gets its cast on thurs, and then im done with doctors save the follow up appointments. Things ive learned: 1.Lost is a great tv show 2.Vicodin fucks with my head 3.Being helpless sucks 4.I have the most amazing girlfriend in the world I guess thats all. I looking foward to getting out a little more now that im in alot less pain. Anyone up for a game of poker? | | Saturday, November 5th, 2005 | | 10:08 pm |
Vacation
Ok i need to burn up some vacation time before the end of the year, and the sooner i take it the better cause i might be going slightly insane from lack of having days off. I dont want to waste it though. So far i have considered the following: -seeing how far i can drive in a straight line -locking myself in my garage, binging on hardcore drugs, and recording an album -taking apart my motorcycle and attemping to put in back together But seriously does anyone have any good ideas for me? Or better yet is anyone else looking to burn up some vacation time and maybe wanna plan a road trip? I have a van and a guitar. | | Friday, September 23rd, 2005 | | 8:26 pm |
Rules are Rules
Post your name and... 1. I'll respond with something random about you. 2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you. 3. I'll pick a flavor of jello to wrestle you in. 4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me. 5. I'll tell you my first memory of you. 6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of. 7. I'll ask you something I've always wondered about you. 8. If you do this you DO NOT have to post this in your journal. You DON'T HAVE TO. It is written. | | Wednesday, September 21st, 2005 | | 2:59 pm |
So there are two types of drivers out there you can be one, the other, neither, but you cant be both. Quite frankly they both piss me off even though im probably one of them. Type 1: This is a driver that doesnt understand that stop lights are on timers, and for some reason they believe that if they drive very fast and weave in and out of traffic they will arrive ahead of everyone else. When i see this person i constant ask myself what is at the next red light that he is in such a hurry to get to. Type 2: This is the person who insists on driving under the speed limit in the left lane with a line of cars tailgating each other behind him. He is also the driver who is most likely to slow down to 20 mph in the left lane causing you to slam on your brakes, slowly move into the turn lane, and then activate his turn signal. Now here is why you cant be both of these people because while the type 1 person lets himself get super pissed at the type 2 person driving 45 mph on the freeway in the left lane before speeding around him on the right saying to himself "why cant they move over and get out of my fucking way); the type two person is saying "this asswhole is tailgating me and now the moron is passing me on the right" Who is correct in this situation? I dont know but it keeps me entertained of my 1/2 hour drive to school. | | Wednesday, August 31st, 2005 | | 3:24 pm |
Sean's list of talk radio personalities that suck: Sean Hannidy Howard Stern Rush Limbah Barry Young Beth and Bill (if they are still around) This list will grow garenteed. Also if anyone was thinking about donating to the hurricane relief efforts you can send checks to the redcross at: American Red Cross P.O. Box 37243 Washington, D.C. 20013 Put hurricane relief in the memo line so it ends up in the right place. | | Tuesday, August 9th, 2005 | | 2:01 pm |
TMV/SOAD
Last night was the third time i have seen the mars volta in phoenix. Their performance was outstanding. Everytime i see that band they amaze me. System of a Down was also alot of fun to watch. However not quite the musical geniuses the Omar and Cedric are they still put on a very entertaining show. The guitar player and bassist remind me of what i believe insane people would do if they were in a band. The sound was not as good as i would have hoped but we were in a place that sports are typically played so i dont really know what i was expecting but they did a great job with the seating and stage position. Overall i would say it was a very good show, and a wonderful thing to receive for your birthday. I wish certain people had seats a little closer to me but you cant have everything. | | Tuesday, July 19th, 2005 | | 6:36 pm |
